If travelling to China, it would be essential to know the traditional clothing to fit in during festivals and traditional events that require it.

Famous traditional clothing for the women are called 'Shen-i'. It is a unique dress which was a tunic and a skirt sewn into one big suit. It was very popular with the major population, as well as the government offices back in the day.

 For the men, the Hanfu is the suggested type of clothing for traditional events and festivals. It is usually made out of silk or cotton.
