The Great Wall of China is a fortification made of stone, wood, earth and other materials. The wall is 8,150km long. It is one of the 7 Wonders of the world and is surely something to visit. It was built to protect china from invasions from nomadic tribes and military incursions. It was built by the first Emperor of China, Qin Shi Huang.
